Make Diy Solar Power Panel Build Do It Yourself systems At Home
If you feel that you lack the essential skills then why not enroll on a part time course. Many community colleges provide courses in basic construction skills. You could combine your theory with some practice in your own back yard.
The rammed earth construction starts by setting out the wall area. The ground is cleared off all the top soil. A trench is excavated about one foot deep. A mass concrete foundation and a short foundation wall is laid. The wall is done one foot above the ground to hold the hardcore layer. A damp proof membrane is laid on the masonry foundation. Timber form work is fixed on both sides of the wall. A holder bat is nailed to stop the timber sides from widening.
Where you position the brackets at the top will again depend on the width of the window jamb. Set the bracket too far back and you will have the window hitting the blinds problem. I usually like to bring the bracket forward to the front of the jamb, so that there is the maximum clearance.
Thickness of the walls depends on climate. In warm areas thinner walls are acceptable, but the further north you go the thicker you need to make the walls. In some parts of Canada a two wall system (one exterior and one interior) are sometimes used.
